A mere month after her debut album, Same Trailer Different Park was released, country music darling Kacey Musgraves hit the road to support the album and to prepare for her upcoming North American and European tour, Same Tour Different Trailer. The lucky few hundred fans at Joe’s Bar in Chicago this night were treated to fan-favorite sing-alongs, a few striped back tender tunes, and even a cover of Weezer’s “Island in the Sun” for good measure. Anyone in attendance that night learned what her fans already knew, that Kacey Musgraves was a shooting star heading to the top of the county music world, and doing it on her own terms.
